We are pleased to have been involved as the key sponsor of the Chatham House Climate Change 2021 Conference. The event welcomed an international audience of policymakers, senior business leaders and climate experts that explored some of the key themes of COP26, including what the next steps are to ensure effective international climate action that is equitable, ambitious and enables society to adhere to the 1.5-degree pathway.
As part of the conference, Richard Hewston, our Climate Risk Director took part in an expert panel on Risk and Adaptation, including Emily Shuckburgh OBE, Director, Cambridge Zero and Saida Muna Tasneem, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh.
The panel assessed how we can measure climate risk and how to incorporate resilience to these risks in forward planning.
