Prarthna Kapur has been promoted by Verisk to senior vice president and will take over as leader of Verisk Maplecroft following Matt Moshiri’s decision to step down.

Kapur joined Verisk nearly four years ago and most recently served as head of product for Verisk Maplecroft. In that role, she has helped advance Maplecroft’s product strategy and strengthen how the business serves clients facing increasingly complex global risks.
She has more than 16 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence operations, quantitative analysis and financial market insight at companies including Moody’s Analytics and AllianceBernstein. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has experience translating complex economic, quantitative and market information into practical insight for executive and client decision-making.
