We helped one of the world's largest ICT companies pinpoint risk hotspots across the value chain for one of its top-selling products.

  An ICT company's responsible sourcing department required granular analysis of the key risk issues associated with the raw materials present within one of its products.

  

• Solution

  Issues assessed included: infrastructure support and transit for access into the field; operators in the areas of interest; surface water access, use and disposal; oilfield waste management; security and government stability; personnel logistics; and social trends.

  

• Outcome

  The results were used internally to incorporate key responsible sourcing issues into category and commodity purchasing strategies. Insights we provided helped the client proactively identify and manage risk across their global supply chain.
