Risk Mapping
We provide unique expertise in mapping various social, economic, political and environmental issues against the global supply chain or ‘footprint’ of business operations. Our risk mapping service builds on our successful and established risk management consultancy business. These maps provide our clients with tools to store and communicate important – but sometimes poorly understood – risk issues to internal and external stakeholders.
At the core of our risk mapping competence is an exclusive series of risk indices we develop and regularly update that are derived from the most authoritative data sources and our own research. For mapping at a more detailed level we run a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) unit allowing us to integrate and analyse data in more depth.
This also allows us to process large amounts of data collected at global, national, regional or field levels. Through our online maps service, clients can access key data on business risks and responsibilities, read extensive issue reports and case studies of business engagement, download maps and tables for use in presentations and much more.
