Legal and Regulatory Environment

The Legal and Regulatory Environment Atlas 2010 has been developed by Maplecroft in association with the international law firm,
Norton Rose.
The atlas includes six aggregated indices measuring: implementation of rule of law, business integrity and corruption, corporate governance, the regulatory framework, respect for property rights and partner, and sourcing and supply chain complicity risk.
Global rankings and country scorecards enable the identification, evaluation and comparison of each country’s legal and regulatory risk areas. Each scorecard also offers an assessment of the implementation of ten key legal conventions and instruments. These include OECD, UN and World Trade Organization conventions on bribery and corruption, investment and property protection, intellectual property and enforcement of contracts.
